Audra and Michelle are both swimming for the Myrtle Beach Swim Team this year.

Audra is swimming for the Carolina Forest High School swim team this fall.  On September 25, the girls team won the Region VII-AAA Championship in Myrtle Beach.  Here is the Photo Gallery from that meet and an article from the September 26 Myrtle Beach Sun-News.  Even better is the September 30 article from the Horry Independent.

The Horry Independent published an article concerning our win in a Charleston meet on September 18 where we defeated two top-ten schools from last year and extended our regular-season winning streak to 68.  Here is a little Photo Gallery from our very first meet of the season.

Audra and Michelle both swam for the Lightning Bolts in the 2004 Myrtle Beach Summer Swim League. Here is the Photo Gallery.

Audra was named Most Valuable Swimmer for the 11-over age group. She won three events in her July 27 Championship Meet: 50-yard freestyle, 50-yard breaststroke, and 100-yard breaststroke. She also broke the league record for 100-yard breaststroke.

Michelle was named Most Valuable Swimmer for the 10-under age group. She won two events in her July 30 Championship Meet: 25-yard breaststroke and 25-yard backstroke.

In an interesting little coincidence, both girls earned exactly 11 blue ribbons each during the summer.
